For great fun swimming there are 2 free bathing lakes with water of drinking-quality available. There are plenty of adventure activities on offer in Flachau to get your adrenalin pumping – rafting, zorbing, canyoning, caving, climbing, paragliding and the high rope course. The ski amadè region covers a total of 860 kilometres of pistes – all available on one ski pass! Due to its modern snow-making equipment and extensive piste grooming, Flachau offers perfect piste conditions throughout the winter season. A variety of après ski bars provide entertainment and a great atmosphere after a day’s skiing. The 220 km long Tauern trail makes cross country skiers‘ hearts beat faster. You can also explore the winter countryside on snowshoes or Nordic skis to your heart’s content. Flachau boasts one of the longest toboggan runs in the Province of Salzburg and to make day become night, most runs are floodlit.
